Nuggles! sent me these tuck wrap and go cover in their ‘outdoorable’ print. Seriously these prints are so adorable! Can I just stop here and sing praises of this print? There are woodland critters, binoculars, fir trees, tents, kayak & paddle, guitar and not to forget the Oh Canada maple leaf. This is an embodiment of Canadian wilderness and I love every bit of detail on this print.

Did I tell you that I am a brand Ambassador for Nuggles? Don’t worry! I will only share my honest reviews with you and if I don’t like something I will tell you!

The cover itself is made of waterproof TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane Laminate). What’s the difference you might ask? TPU uses heat bonding as opposed to chemical bonding in PUL,making TPU more environmentally friendly.

The Tuck – Wrap and Go is a two sized cover. Size 1 (Newborn /Small) fits from 6 – 20 lbs. Size 2 (medium/Large) fits 15- 40 lbs. The cover has flaps both at the front and back which nicely holds the inserts in place. The double gussets does a great job in holding all the messes in. Initially these covers came in Velcro closure but now these comes in snap closure only.

Nuggles! Tuck wrap Go cover feels thicker than my Thirsties cover. This has to do with the double layer of TPU lining. Both size 1 and size 2 cover comes with 2 rows of rise snaps.

You can use them with your choice of inserts, prefolds, flats or fitted. The cover looks big enough to accomodate bulky inserts or fitteds which should make it ideal for night-time use.The cover wipes clean so you can use it multiple times making it a very economical option.

Nuggles also has some amazing sized prefold options to go with these covers. I received a size 1 day time inserts along with this cover. The daytime inserts are made of 2 layer of bamboo/cotton so when trifolded you get a 6 layers of absorbency. You can even snappi it on a newborn. They are fairly trim, super soft and don’t bunch up like other inserts I have tried.

Little Miss A is almost 15 pounds now at 6 months and the cover fits at the last but second waist snap. I think *fingers crossed* that we should be using this until the suggested 20 pound limit. But I will keep you posted. We use the day time insert but it definitely needs a booster if I plan to leave it for more than 2 hours. I do use this cover with Thirsties hemp prefold and AppleCheeks inserts, I love how the flaps holds the inserts in place without shifting around.

What I Love:

  • Double layer of TPU feels thicker and sturdy.
  • Newborn to Potty training in 2 sizes.
  • Cover can be wiped off and used multiple times (unless it’s soiled)
  • Dual leg gussets that contain messes in
  • Flaps at the front and back to hold the inserts in place
  • Designed here in Canada by a Canadian Mom and ethically made in China
  • Adorable selection of prints

What I love less:

  • Short wings. At 15 lbs we are already at the last but second waist snap. I am not a 100% sure if we will make it to 20 lbs.
  • Looks little baggy at the back
